Griffin Tattoo by Calum

This is a Persian Griffin. Symbolic Griffins have been depicted as far back as 3000 BC in parts of ancient Iraq and Egypt.

With the body, tail and back legs of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle the Griffin represents courage and boldness. It is drawn to powerful fierce monsters and denotes strength, courage and leadership.

Paleontologists believe the T-Rex belonged to a group of bipedal, carnivorous dinosaurs that were feathered and not lizard like. Did you know the Pigeon is a descendant of the T-Rex?
